General Conditions of Service

Repair Order

Dear Customers are alerted to the following conditions in force determined by ASSR, Lda, hereinafter referred to as EME Motors

A – The vehicle cannot be washed with high pressure devices, aimed at the repaired area or the replaced glass within 24 hours after carrying out the service (48 hours if the temperature < 5ºC), nor in washing tunnels within 96 hours.

B – The parts removed and considered deficient by the workshop, at the time of repair, will be sent for recycling, in accordance with the article of Decree-Law 78/2006 which determines that “waste management constitutes an integral part of its life cycle, being the responsibility of the respective producer”.

C – No replacement parts will be delivered to the Customer within the warranty period, which require their return to the manufacturer, or its representative, or which must be subject to expert examination under the terms of CNQ Directive 18/00.

D – With the affixing, by the Customer, of its initials in this Repair Order, it is considered to be expressly authorized by the Customer not only the provision of the works and services mentioned therein but also the incorporation and replacement of the material considered by the workshop as necessary under the point from a technical point of view to the proper execution of services.

E – EME Motors considers itself authorized by the Customer in advance, unconditionally and generally to use the vehicle in road tests – called experience outside the workshops – to prove the efficiency of the repair and guarantee the safety of the vehicle.

F – The customer is solely responsible for any and all infringements caused by the lack or irregularity of documents and equipment (triangle, reflective vest, etc.), which must accompany the vehicle, and the customer is responsible for paying the respective fines or fines and related expenses.

G – All objects necessary for the legal circulation of vehicles must be properly stored in the respective trunk. The customer guarantees that he has removed all objects that should not normally accompany a vehicle or that, in relation to those that he did not remove, he holds EME Motors harmless for their safekeeping. Under no circumstances will EME Motors be held responsible for any damage, theft or loss of objects that have not been subject to the requirements mentioned above or that have not been delivered by the Customer to Reception.

H – Budgets will only hold EME Motors responsible as long as they are presented in writing and endorsed by a responsible employee. Any verbal commitment regarding service budgets made by our employees does not bind EME Motors.

I – The vehicle is delivered within the workshop’s normal opening hours and, in principle, on the day and time initially scheduled. Any delay, as long as it is communicated in advance, does not involve any responsibility for EME Motors, excluding this communication due to force majeure or duly justified unforeseeable circumstances.

J – EME Motors assumes no responsibility for any damage or incompatibility caused by installed equipment that is not sold by EME Motors.

K – In the event of a dispute, the competent forum to resolve the issue is the location of the billing center.

L – The parties agree and reciprocally accept the conditions referred to above.
